Technician Replaced Burnt AirFiber CPE with Defective Refurbished Unit, Marked Resolved

After lightning damaged an outdoor AirFiber receiver, a technician finally visited to perform an RMA replacement. The technician installed an unboxed, scratched replacement unit which failed to synchronize or acquire IP from the local tower. The technician promised to return the next morning with another unit, but immediately marked the ticket 'Resolved' in his mobile app, leaving the customer without internet for another 10 days.
